Our client, an energetic and ambitious TV station located in a small college town in Tennessee, is currently seeking a Director of Engineering & Technology.  This is a small but growing PBS television station that has received national awards for programming.  It recently installed state-of-the-art digital transmission capacity. 

As the Director of Engineering & Technology for this company you will:

Coordinate technological support to ensure smooth function of broadcast operations, production support and computer-based systemsLead the digital transition and convergence of television and the webCreate and manage budgetsSupervise two other engineering personnelBe an integral part of a senior leadership team

 Compensation

Requirements

BS in Electrical Engineering preferred

SBE Certification

Extensive experience in broadcast engineering at a commercial or public broadcast facility

Experience with RF and microwave systems, studio and master control systems, automation systems,
non-linear edit systems, cameras and video tape recorders
