My client is a regional center that meets the needs of its patients in a 33 county area.

They serve as the designated trauma center for the region and provide a vital, lifesaving link to rural areas via the hospital’s helicopter ambulance service. It also provides a full range of comprehensive medical services including the Heart Center, a newly constructed skilled care unit, CARF-accredited inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, and the latest in family-centered obstetrics. It serves as the designated trauma center for the region and provides a vital, lifesaving link to rural areas via the hospital's helicopter ambulance service. The medical center also provides a full range of comprehensive medical services for patients from northwest Iowa, northeast Nebraska and southeast South Dakota. The system consists of the main hospital, two rural hospitals, a primary care clinic network, specialty care clinics and home health services.

This outstanding hospital is part of the fourth largest Catholic healthcare system in the nation and has an immediate opening for a LEADER for their award winning Emergency Department.

The ER Director will provide leadership for a Level II Trauma Center which has around 35 beds and has 30,000 visits per year, 1,000 of which are Trauma patients. The manager will lead both the clinical staff and Flight operations team. 40 FTE's.  Must be licensed in the State of Iowa or eligible.  Bachelor’s degree required and Masters is preferred. 5 years of ER experience required with at least 3 years experience preferred.
