Online/Digital Marketing Expert

 

Experience:

 

·        5-10 years implementing integrated digital marketing campaigns

·        5+ years experience using web analytics and other software products that facilitate analyzing digital marketing campaigns

·        Masters degree in Marketing

 

Reports to CMO

 

Job Responsibilities:

·        Develop an integrated marketing strategy (products and communications) for Webtrends

·        Oversee the creation of integrated marketing campaigns for WebTrends family of products

·        Advising engineering team on how to accommodate the needs of the digital marketer

·        Educating the company culture on digital marketing

·        Representing company at external events, such as customer events and webcasts as an expert in digital marketing

·        Writing/publishing authoritative articles in digital marketing/integrated online marketing campaigns

 

 

Other responsibilities related to digital marketing strategy (products and communications):

·        Oversees market research, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs. Interacts with engineering, manufacturing and sales to enhance existing product(s) or product line(s). Leads new product definition and business plans with joint departments. 

·        Responsible for assessment of existing and potential markets, product lifecycle planning, coordination of technical product development, development of product strategies, definition of promotional activities, and product launch.

·        Provides analysis that informs and improves the effectiveness of the planning, execution and optimization of marketing strategy. You will tie optimization metrics to the strategic intent of campaigns and the underlying business objectives.

·        Oversees strategic planning, development and coordination of all digital marketing strategies to promote the sale of company products and further the company's sales objectives.

·        Directs the development of customer experience assessment tools focused on customer web behavior patterns. Develops solutions to enhance visitor experience, maximize existing and potential revenue opportunity and to optimize business results.

·        Implementing ongoing marketing campaigns, developing online strategy and tracking campaign and utilizing online metrics to analyze success.
