CASA of Northwest Arkansas is currently seeking a FT Director of Development. Interested candidates must possess a passion for working with abused and neglected children, experience with donor development, event coordination and marketing.

The Director of Development and Marketing is responsible for providing leadership in the planning, directing, and implementation of various fundraising efforts. He/she will oversee the development of objectives, activities, and goals relating to generating programmatic and operational funds, while increasing the visibility and understanding of the work and mission of CASA of Northwest Arkansas. The development program consists of, but is not limited to; special projects, foundation gifts, planned giving, major gifts and grants. The Director of Development and Marketing reports directly to the Executive Director.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in communications, marketing, non-profit management, or related fields, experience with a successful development program is preferred. A well-developed understanding of fundraising and a demonstrable knowledge of development, communications, and marketing. Demonstrated success in foundation and corporate giving, and grant awards. Experience with major gift fundraising including; identification of prospects, formulating cultivation plans, personally soliciting major gifts, and conducting an effective stewardship program.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
In coordination with the Executive Director and Development Committee; Develop and implement an annual development plan to meet the funding needs and identify the funding priorities of CASA of Northwest Arkansas, including special events, foundation and corporate giving and planned giving. Oversees and implements strategies that will grow revenue, writes proposals and secures funding from corporate, foundation and individual donors. Coordinate signature fundraisers. Builds and sustains relationships with current, new and potential grant-giving organizations and individuals. Promote diversification and growth of donor base with an emphasis on cultivating and upgrading annual donors, major gifts, special projects, bequests, and memorials Maintain donor database Develop and manage agency marketing and branding strategies and collaborates with staff to ensure that publications and website includes donor- focused content. Serves as a representative of the organization before public audiences as requested. Development of the Friends of CASA program
