Provide strategic communications counsel and implementation for Branch and Private Banking executive team. Serve as a member of the Branch and Private Banking leadership team to: Using proven methodology, lead and / or perform on large-scale communications projects. Develop and maintain leadership communications plans, including core messages, channels and meetings. Coach senior leaders on delivery of communications messages. Consult to senior leaders on communications issues and influence business decisions as appropriate as an advocate for corporate reputation. Effectively deliver on client needs while simultaneously ensuring needs of the larger organization are met. Ensure executive leaders receive best-in-class communications counsel. Partner on disaster recovery efforts. 2. Develop effective relationships with key collaborators and ensure integrated delivery of communications to branch associates. Ensure weekly delivery of key communications through Restricted Email Accounts and manager Digests. Partner with Banking Communications Channels lead to develop and deliver channels strategy Assess and mitigate communications risks across the division Partner with HR lead, the wider bank communications team, branch operations, training, sales coaches, SME groups, Capital Ones national Corporate Affairs team and business leaders as required. Partner with media, community and government relations teams to ensure consistent messaging and timely delivery as applicable. 3. Contribute to building of bank communications team and practice Develop and continually update best practices Remain up-to-date with industry practices in retail-environment communications Work with communicators company-wide to develop and implement best practices Scope communications needs for clients and, as necessary, partner to secure and oversee contractors.

Job Experience: Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree in business, communications, marketing/public relations or a related discipline. Fifteen years of work experience in consulting, public/corporate communications, or training in a banking, financial services or retail environment Preferred Qualifications: In-depth knowledge of the banking business and culture. Outstanding interpersonal communication & influencing skills Very strong writing skills Proven ability to absorb large amounts of information and distill it into compelling and clear messaging.
