Elliott Aviation, Inc., a world class leader in the aviation industry is seeking a DIRECTOR OF BROKERAGE & ACQUISITION SERVICES for our Moline, Illinois location.
The principal duties of the position include the following:
· Develop and successfully execute an annual business plan that meets or exceeds our financial and unit objectives.
· Secure brokerage and acquisition agreements to meet our objectives.
· Manage the department to cost effectively provide the research and market intelligence necessary to achieve the desired objectives.
· Successfully market and sell aircraft within the prescribed time and pricing established with the customer.
· Initiate phone and/or personal contact with aircraft owners to make them aware of our capabilities and generate leads/opportunities.
· Implement a prospecting system and actively work to locate candidate aircraft in sufficient numbers to achieve our desired objective.
· Leverage our in house research capabilities.
· Manage aircraft marketing.
· Prepare quotes to be presented to the customer, provide bid strategy and be responsible for all required approvals.
· Properly handle the aircraft transaction, administration, documentation, contracts, paper trail, etc., as required.
· Provide briefings to management on status of sales activities.
· Directors and above are required to review all processes in their areas of responsibility to achieve continuous improvement
· Other duties as assigned
The qualifications for the position include: Bachelors Degree in Aviation or Business Administration desired; Minimum five years proven Brokerage and Aircraft Sales experience with demonstrated ability to secure brokerage and acquisition contracts of value and to successfully sell the aircraft; Results oriented; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Strong organizational skills; Strong presentation and public speaking skills; Ability to multi task and prioritize activities; Ability to work effectively with all people at all levels of the company; Computer proficiency with a PC and in-depth knowledge of Windows XP, Excel, Word and Access. This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer.
