Information Systems Audit

This position is responsible for directing activities relating to information systems auditing to confirm compliance with federal, state and contractual requirements; operations adhere to corporate policies and procedures; and internal controls are operating effectively and efficiently. The results of the work performed are reported to management, the Audit Committees of the Boards of Directors and, when required, the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, CMS and other business partners.

This position has a high level of accountability within the organization.

We're searching for applicants with a background in information systems, systems development life cycle, and auditing theories. In addition to knowledge of accepted data privacy and security practices, qualified applicants must be skilled in project management, communication, time management, problem solving and decision-making. Knowledge of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800 Series, Control Objectives for Information and related Technology (CoBIT), and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) is expected.

We require a minimum of a four-year degree in business-related or information systems field. Also required is 5 years previous experience in information systems auditing and internal auditing, preferably within healthcare or related field. CIA, CISA or other related certification is required.
