In this high impact, influential position, the Fixed Annuity Director will work with a team of wholesalers and Divisional Sales Managers to achieve the Fixed Annuities 2008 sales goals. Highly skilled and well-versed in the fixed annuity product line, the Fixed Annuity Director will travel throughout an assigned territory to ensure that wholesalers have the knowledge they need to successfully meet their individual sales goals year in and year out.
Uncovering Sales Opportunities and Wholesaler Training Work with the Divisional Sales Managers and wholesalers to achieve the fixed annuities sales goals through the bank channel/National CitySales Development and National Accounts SupportParticipate in bank and broker/dealer annual/regional conferences to promote the fixed product line.Provide feedback from the field to assist in product development and sales and marketing ideas.Work periodically with National Accounts to promote the fixed product line at banks and broker/dealers’ home offices in assigned territory.Support to Help You Succeed
The Fixed Annuity Sales Desk will give internal support to the Fixed Annuity DirectorAllocated funds will appropriately support the heavy travel required in the territory.*Please note that the candidate can live in Ohio or Indiana
Bachelor's degree strongly preferred 3-5 years wholesaling experience 5+ years in Financial Services and Fixed or Variable Annuities 80% Travel Licenses required: Life, State & Health, Series 6 or 7 and Series 63 upon hire Strong presentation /public speaking skills Proven ability to build credibility with the sales force Excellent Influencing skills Excellent interpersonal skills and strong communication Demonstrated knowledge of the financial services industryJOHN HANCOCK IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER - AA/F/M/D/V
