North American Medical Management specializes in co-ventures with leading physicians and hospitals to build physician networks, which successfully address the delivery of medical services to managed care markets.

NAMM has developed sophisticated techniques for managing revenue and health care expenses of doctor groups (IPA's/PHO's).  These include health plan contract affiliations, information and operating systems, actuarial and financial analyses, utilization management, case management, and quality management procedures, provider contracts and incentive mechanisms, as well as medical policies and risk management.  NAMM provides these tools and management services to IPA's and PHO's.

Currently we are seeking a Director of Finance and Analysis as described below:

Executes Finance Dept. short-term strategies and tasks agreed upon with CFO.  Supports CFO in developing Finance Dept. intermediate and long-term goals and objectives and effectively communicates those goals, strategies and tasks to Finance Dept. staff.  Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual client and health plan financial reporting.  Responsible for development and maintenance of analyses in support of optimizing client cost management.  Provides managerial oversight to reinsurance, subrogation and accounts payable functions.  Responsible for periodic presentation of financial results with clients.     

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

·         Responsible for controls and integrity of Great Plains accounting data including GL and AP

·         Responsible for controls and integrity of FRX financial reporting

·         Responsible for controls and integrity of PeachTree fixed asset data 

·         Responsible for integrity of monthly capitation processing

·         Responsible for project planning, coordination and oversight of upgrades to financial software packages including user acceptance testing and sign-off

·         Ensures compliance with NAMM financial policies and procedures  

·         Responsible for submission of AHI financial filings with Illinois Department of Insurance

·         Responsible for submission of quarterly financial statement filings with health plans

·         Responsible for oversight of provider profiling and fund status reporting

·         Responsible for development of revenue and cost analyses in support of client contract renewals with various health plans

·         Responsible for oversight of tracking and validating reinsurance recoveries from health plans

·         Provides key role in development of annual client budgets with supporting analytics as appropriate

·         Provides key role validating client UM and Rx results 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

·         Proficiency with MS Access and MS Excel

·         Experience with delegated risk models

·         Excellent communication skills

 

 

Minimum Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

·         5 years supervisory experience in Accounting or Finance

·         Health care industry knowledge helpful

·         CMS experience helpful
