SUMMARY:

In collaboration with the PartnersFinancial Business Development Team, the AVP of Marketing is dedicated to member firm sales and growth. This person will work closely with various teams and departments within Marketing Communications, Meeting Planning, Life Insurance Marketing Services, Benefits, Investments, Strategic Growth, and other Distribution Channels to help develop tools, communications, events, resources, and strategies for the benefit of our firms. This person will not only work with project management leads within multiple business units, but will work closely with the PartnersFinancial business development team, technology, member services, and recruiting to ensure that our teams are equipped to maximize their impact with our members.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, this individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

 

Development and Implementation of a comprehensive marketing plan targeted specifically for the benefit of PartnersFinancial firms

Identification, Planning and Development of quality programs, tools, and resources that support Member Firm growth; serving as PartnersFinancial primary liaison in the development of strategies, marketing materials, campaigns, programs, events, tools, etc.

Responsible for the content, organization, coordination, promotion, and execution of the PartnersFinancial Fall and Spring Conferences

Measure, Analyze, and Evaluate all PartnersFinancial marketing initiatives

Communicate timely information to Member Firms keeping them informed on industry developments, NFP and PartnersFinancial, events, and various sales opportunities

Write and oversee the development of various communications components including announcements, brochures, articles, briefs, agendas, and other collateral marketing pieces

Responsible for the upkeep, development, and creation of the PartnersFinancial website content

Internal Marketing Liaison for all PartnersFinancial Affinity Group deliverables and projects

Responsible for the marketing of Cross Product Sales; i.e., Benefits and Investments product lines

Demonstrate initiative, flexibility, creativity, is conscientious and provides complete follow-through on areas of responsibility

Must be able to handle various tasks simultaneously, organize, prioritize, make decisions and work efficiently and effectively under deadlines

Attention to detail and project management/organizational skills are a must

Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential in order to work with all levels within the company, manage vendors, and deliver projects simultaneously within tight deadlines

In addition to excellent organizational skills, this position requires a team-oriented person that can work productivity with various departments throughout NFP

Strong software use skills including in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook), a solid grasp of web technologies, and the aptitude to quickly learn new tools

 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: 

Bachelor’s degree required

3-5 years in the financial services industry required

Financial sales and/or marketing background is preferred

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION:

Professional designations preferred, such as CLU, ChFC, CFP, MBA, or others

 

PHYSICAL DEMAND:  Ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:  Climate controlled office environment.
