Direct Marketing Account Executive - South Orange County, CA
Position Description/Overview:
In this position, you will serve as the main contact between the agency and assigned clients. In this hands-on position, you will be the day-to-day liaison between client and agency while directing and coordinating all day-to-day agency efforts for your accounts. This position requires the ability to react quickly to client requests, while delivering the highest quality of work in the quickest, most cost-effective manner. You must have strong communication skills, the ability to develop and manage multiple clients, the ability to function as the main point of contact for client, must be detailed oriented, and must be available for occasional travel.
Specific Responsibilities:
· Manage day-to-day client contact and account management process from start to finish
· Learn, understand and be able to reiterate client’s business and project objectives and competitive landscape
· Proactively anticipate client needs and provide solutions
· Develop, track and update daily realistic project timelines and deliverables to ensure deadlines are met
· Provide direction and project information to the sales, creative and production depts. as needed
· Provide proactive follow-up and follow-through to ensure all projects are on track
· Monitor the status of work in progress as well as client budgets for assigned projects
· Write, update, manage and control all account paperwork including meeting notes
· Track and analyze results, draw conclusions and make strategic recommendations
· Assist in the strategy, development and execution of plans and programs
· Plan and lead team meetings to ensure agency understanding of all deliverables
· Proofread all documents/materials prior to client review to ensure quality throughout project
· Provide direction as needed to Account Coordinator(s)
Requirements:

Experience:
A BA/BS in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration or equivalent experience is desiredMust have 3 years minimum agency experience Must have working knowledge of agency account processKnowledge of direct marketing with direct mail experience Prefer to have candidates with direct mail, DRTV, radio, FSI’s newspaper and other media productionWe offer a competitive compensation salary with bonuses, plus excellent benefits including medical insurance, retirement plan, vacation and personal time and holiday schedule.
