The team is specifically looking for a candidate who is interested in codecs and multimedia pipelines. This candidate will have 2+ years of codec development or test on Windows or Windows CE (preferred).
Job Responsibilities for this Software Design Engineer in Test: Writing automated tests against audio and video codecs in the system and testing these codecs within their multimedia pipeline (DShow). (This may include WMA, WMV, MP3, AAC and more). Testing will cover security such as fuzzing tools and automation to execute the fuzzing, performance, stability, functionality and compatibility. This successful team member will be able to drive high level requirements down to prioritized test cases with team consensus.

Again....We are specifically looking for a candidate who is interested in codecs and multimedia pipelines. This candidate will have 2+ years of codec development or testing on Windows or Windows CE (preferred). A successful candidate for this position is enthusiastic and motivated, with effective organizational and communication skills.
Strong passion for audio/video technologies is an absolute must!
This SDET will have proven coding and debugging skills (C/C++), broad technical interests, be a quick learner and unafraid of jumping into new and unknown territories to help ship the product. This team member will have 3-5 years of experience in shipping complex products and have a 4-year degree in a related field.
Software Design Engineer in Test - Level 2 position requirements include: 4+ years C or C++ software development. 3+ years of software or hardware testing. 2+ years of codec development or testing. Experience driving ambiguous projects to completion. Experience shipping 2+ software products. Computer Science/Engineering degree or related working experience is required.
Optional Skills (these added skills will move your resume to the top!) Strong Interest in Audio/Video, Multi Media and/or Embedded devices. 1+ year Windows CE. 2+ years of device driver development or testing. 2+ years of embedded software development. Kernel debugging. Driver debugging. Windows CE Test Kit (CETK).
