My client is currently seeking a Digital Engineer to join their State College, PA facility on a permanent basis. The Digital Engineer is responsible for the design and development of embedded microcontroller hardware & firmware for use in Satellite Communications equipment. 0-5 years of experience in the development embedded system hardware & firmware -Strong background in embedded microprocessor & microcontroller hardware & firmware design. -Experience with ARM7 & Freescale 68HC11 microprocessors and Microchip PIC-series microcontrollers. -Experience with FGPA design using VHDL for Xilinx or Altera FPGAs. -Strong knowledge of C programming for embedded applications. -Experience with RTOS for use in embedded systems. -Excellent understanding of logic synthesis, memory devices (RAM, EEPROM) and analog interface devices (ADC/DAC -Experience with RS232/485/I2C/SPI serial communication interfaces. Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrcial Engineering. Must hold prior knowledge and experience as indicated above. Candidates must be willing to work out of the State College, PA facility.
