The Minnesota Attorney General’s Office in St. Paul seeks an applicant capable of all aspects of database design and implementation from maintaining existing to developing new applications in a Microsoft Access 2003 and SQL 2000/2005 environment.

 

Must have a thorough understanding of Microsoft Access and be familiar with VBA coding in Microsoft Word and Excel.  A solid understanding of database design techniques including, but not limited to normalization, optimization, and ADO, DAO, VBA, T-SQL, programming languages.  Applicants must have 2+ years experience developing databases with Microsoft Access and SQL server.  Knowledge of HTML, ASP, JAVA Script, .Net, Adobe, Opentext/Hummingbird DM and RM, Prolaw, Concordance, and Summation is a plus.

 

This Microsoft Access developer position is full time.  The MN Attorney General’s Office offers a competitive salary.  Benefits include: vacation and sick leave, holidays, insurance, an employer contribution to the state retirement plan, and pre-tax benefits.
