We are seeking candidates for a variety of Volt positions on-site at Caterpillar's facility located in Peoria, IL. These positions will range in skill level and duration. The qualified candidate will perform general machine development activity at the Peoria Proving Ground for Motor Graders. Activity will include total machine evaluations along with sub-systems and component evaluations. The candidate's responsibilities include: - Planning and conducting machine tests at the Peoria Proving Ground as well as customer job sites. - Acquiring, reducing and analyzing test data. - Reporting results both verbally and written. The qualified candidate will work in a team environment with other developmental engineers and support personnel. Some travel will be required.

Requirements:
A Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering is desired. Other engineering experience would be acceptable if a strong mechanical aptitude is present. The candidate absolutely MUST have very good hands-on mechanical experience such as farm or construction machinery operation and maintenance, automobile or tractor restoration, etc. The candidate must also have good verbal and written communication skills, work attitude, high level of motivation, initiative, good people relation skills and must be able to work in a team environment.
