Excellent engineering firm, highly ranked and respected, serving the REFINERY & PETROCHEMICAL industries has a need for as many as five (5) POWER & CONTROLS DESIGNERS in Kentucky. The position requires a minimum of 8 years-related experience in refinery, petrochemical or other industrial operating facilities. You must be able to design power systems, instrumentation & control systems including SIS systems, CEMS and process analyzer systems. In addition, you should be experienced in physical design including power distribution, lighting, grounding, heat tracing, motor controls, raceway systems, communication infrastructure and PLC design. Good communication skills, computer skills and the ability to work well with a variety of individuals in a team setting are required. Per diem is available Questions you will be asked:
• 1. Do you have plant design experience? How many years?
• 2. Do you have Petrochemical, Chemical or Refinery experience?
• 3. Do have experience with instrumentation and control systems? What systems?
• 4. What rate will you require for this position? Will you consider a temp to full time position?
• 5. Where are you located now and why would you consider this location?
