DESIGN ENGINEERING MANAGER - MARINE PRODUCTS: EZ-Dock, a division of PlayPower, Inc., currently has an opening for a Design Engineering Manager at its Monett MO location. EZ Dock is the world?s market leading floating dock and PWC lift manufacturer. This individual will manage the overall development of innovative, high quality, effective products for the marine industry as well as the engineering for existing products, and the engineering for installation/application of products. Coordinate projects w/necessary departments and communicate product designs to management teams; design and/or manage the design of safe, reliable, cost-effective products that meet required marine industry standards. (ADA, SOBA); utilize technical knowledge to insure new or modified designs are effective, yet cost efficient to maximize profit margins; manage the planning, design, drawings, and documentation for new products; work with marketing and sales to manage the development of product ideas from concept to production; provide product training, installation assistance, and support in the field as required. Qualified candidates will have a BS in Engineering from a four-year college or university, ten years of experience in the Marine Industry with increasing levels of responsibility with the most recent position being Engineering Manager, Supervisor or similar. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. Two to three years experience in the dock, marine or other waterfront related development field is strongly preferred.
