IDC Architects is currently seeking a Design Architect who will support the Laboratory and R&D Facility projects out of our Portland, Oregon office. This is a key position which will work within a team to design science and technology focused projects, including research facilities, laboratories and critical environments, incorporating sustainable and high performance concepts. Additional responsibilities may include client and technical presentations and business development activities. http://www.idcarchitects.com Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Entrepreneurial spirit Passion for design and architecture Excellent graphic communication skills, both freehand and digital BA/BS in Architecture Registered Architect Preferred Qualifications: 8 years experience Lab and Research facility portfolio Open minded with a commitment to balance architecture as both art and science Thrives in a collaborative and team oriented work environment, which includes brainstorming, charettes, and rapid prototyping.
