Position Description: Provide product and illustration support in the initial design and re-evaluation of Wealth Transfer cases.

Responsibilities:

· Perform due diligence on carrier and product selection.

· Analyze premium funding alternatives. ie, Private Split Dollar, Premium Financing & Gifting

· Generate illustrations for proposed plan including mortality adjusted studies.

· Perform insurance policy efficiency studies by comparing illustrations for competitiveness and the ability to meet long term objectives.

· Develop text and graphics for formal presentation of proposed plan.

· Maintain library for product disks and boilerplate presentations.

· Keep abreast of accounting and legal issues and their impact on existing business and future business.

· Develop new marketing materials to improve efficiency and/or to assist producers in their marketing efforts.

· Identify new sales opportunities through interpretation of inforce illustrations and annual case review process.

· Generate illustrations for existing plans and review to determine funding adequacy.

· Generate spreadsheet analysis for policy reviews and comparisons.

· Create a positive atmosphere by demonstrating enthusiasm, a spirit of teamwork and by maintaining high standards and confidentiality.

Skills:

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

· Effective verbal and written communication.

· Excellent interpersonal skills.

· Ability to set and meet deadlines.

· Ability to work autonomously and perform well under pressure.

· Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

· Strong financial analysis skills and ability to conceptualize.

· Intermediate to advanced knowledge of marketing concepts, insurance and financial products.

· Ability to develop advanced working knowledge of life insurance illustration systems.

· Ability to understand complex tax and legal concepts and issues and their impact on sales.

· Ability to master presentation and desktop publishing software packages.

· Detail oriented, resourceful.

· Strong decision making skills.

· Ability to participate both as a team member and as a team leader.

Education and Experience:

· Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics or Actuarial Science.

· Three to five years experience in life insurance industry or related marketplace.

· Life Insurance License and NASD Series 6, 63 or Series 7, 63.
