Position Description:

The purpose of this position is to develop sound accounting policies and procedures. Expedite and analyze the monthly closing of the financial records. Manage the General Accountants, A/P and A/R functions. Evaluate and implement new systems and procedures to improve efficiency. Position also responsible for the monitoring and controlling of the operating expenses for the VaxServe sales organization. Specific responsibilities include conducting on-going reviews of budgets and spending to identify, assess and investigate budget variances. Will also act as a liaison / primary contact with SP Finance department to ensure that all milestones are met. Represents the function in internal controls matters for Sarbanes Oxley 404 certification. Responsible to plan, organize, and participation in delivery of key milestones: documentation, testing, and remediation. Communicates directly with Process Owners and functional staff involved in the process. Liaison to the Financial Compliance team on all deliverables. We are an equal opportunity employer M/F/D/V.
