Unit Summary:  Syracuse Hancock International Airport is located in central New York.  DNC Travel Hospitality Services operates eight food/beverage unit and three retail stores throughout the airport.  Branded concepts include:  Au Bon Pain Café and Sbarro’s. 

 

Your Role:  The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day operations for the multiple food and beverage operations throughout the airport.  Manage, coach and train non exempt associates on company regulations, policies and procedures. Maintain positive customer relations by ensuring efficient friendly service and quality products. Coordinate and supervise activities of associates and supervisory personnel. Work with management to control cost, i.e. food, liquor and labor. Determine food and beverage product quantities, receive merchandise, verify receiving slips with orders submitted and review invoices.  Ensure overall product quality and control costs.

 

Our Expectations:  Qualified candidates must have knowledge of food preparation and inventory control procedures. Excellent oral and written communication skills a must.  Basic organizational and mathematical ability is necessary.   Multi-unit and brand concept experience preferred. Management Serve Safe Certified required.  A 4-year degree with emphasis in business or food service management and 3+ years direct experience preferred.
