Ethicon Endo-Surgery, Inc., a member of Johnson && Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Sedation Account Manager, located in Denver, Colorado. Ethicon Endo-Surgery, Inc. (EES) develops and markets advanced medical devices for minimally invasive and open surgical procedures. The company focuses on procedure-enabling devices for the interventional diagnosis and treatment of conditions in general and bariatric surgery, as well as gastrointestinal health, gynecology and surgical oncology. The Sedation Account Manager is responsible for driving sales volume in surgical facilities by offering a safe sedation alternative. This system, known as Sedasys, will bring Propofol to surgical facilities and to the GI space assisting facilities to fill capacity backlogs and help them better leverage their resources. The primary objective of the Sedation Account Manager will be to achieve sales goals in an assigned territory through educating and advising customers to incorporate this new technology in their practice as well as provide ongoing guidance so customers will see the positive impacts on their operations. This includes serving as the key customer contact to assure that customer needs are properly identified, assessed, and addressed in a highly responsive, cost-effective way. The successful sales representative will demonstrate the ability to build and sustain trust, passion and influence via long-term working relationships with customers; educate customers on the benefits of using safe sedation technology demonstrating economic and other benefits; plan strategically and implement those plans; assess customers' needs and deploy and direct resources to address those needs; and possess the ability to overcome objections in a concise, professional, ethical and persuasive manner that leads the customer to action Apply today to be considered for this position, or other positions in the Johnson && Johnson Family of Companies. To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria: A minimum of a Bachelors Degree paired with three or more years of sales experience selling to a highly educated/high profile customer base with documented sales results. The ability to sell in an operating room, lab, hospital environment or free standing surgery center is required. A valid driver's license issued in one of the 50 States with a clean driving record is required. The ability to travel as necessary, which may include overnight and/or weekends, is required. Candidates with medical device/capital equipment sales experience paired with clinical pharmaceutical sales experience strongly preferred. Experience calling on Gastroenterologists is preferred. Documented success in a complex sale to multiple decision makers/committees preferred. Individuals must live within the current geography or be willing to relocate to it. Preference will be given to candidates located in the Denver, Colorado area.
