Description: This position drives the closed loop demand planning process for NetApps supply chain operations. Requires strong partnerships with Product Management, Manufacturing Operations, Finance and Sales to deliver timely and accurate forecasts to both internal & external teams. This position promotes process improvements to advance the transparency of forecast assumptions and key business drivers affecting NetApps business as well as forecast accuracy. Additional responsibilities may include participation on cross-functional projects related to supply chain operations, supply chain strategy, forecasting systems/tools, and ad hoc requests. Requires a team player with excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills enabling them to influence decisions.

Essential functions include:
oDriving a highly collaborative & cross-functional forecast process.
oContinuously building process improvements through anticipating & addressing evolving business needs
oDeveloping and publishing actionable forecast accuracy metrics to stakeholder groups
oLeading cross-functional project teams to accomplish operations and supply chain objectives.
oEmploying demand forecasting tools & systems to develop & communicate product forecasts to NetApps management and contract manufacturers.
oSupport efforts to adjust forecasting processes and systems as needed.
oSupport efforts to recruit, coach and develop forecasting team resources

o7+ years experience with forecasting, demand planning or related positions.oStrong understanding of configure to order manufacturing environments, contract manufacturing environments, and global business processes including complex supply chain models.oExperience leading an effective sales and operations planning process within a Business unit.oDemonstrated team player, able to work across levels & organizational boundaries.oStrong skill set with Excel, PowerPoint and database application software. oProven management and formal project planning experience for cross-functional efforts.oThorough knowledge in computer systems and software applications in demand management and forecasting with working knowledge of analytical techniques, including computer models and statistical evaluation systems. Working knowledge of Oracle 11i ERP a plus.oPrior experience within a fast paced high-tech environment.oIdeal candidate will possess a BA/BS in a business related discipline. MBA preferred.
