Degreed Accountant to join Consulting Firm in Arlington Texas

Established Arlington Texas based consulting firm is looking for a degreed accountant to join their team. This position requires a Bachelors degree in accounting and two years of experience and is being created to assist clients with various accounting aspects which arise during the conversion/implementation of new software systems. The majority of clients are located in the South East United Sates with some international work. 25% travel is required. This is a full time salaried position with medical, dental and vision.

This is a consulting position, not performing accounting but rather assisting clients with the accounting aspects of various systems. The firm is a Gold certified Microsoft representative with offices located a few blocks north of Six Flags in Arlington. The core business is providing clients with one of three Microsoft multi module systems. You should be willing to attend classes to become certified in at least one of these systems. You will be on full salary during this training which will be provided at the employers’ expense. One of the systems was originally called Great Plains. Today the system is known as Microsoft Dynamics GP.

Microsoft Dynamics NAV (previously know as Navision)

MS Dynamics AX (previously know as Axapta)

These systems are programmable. This allows the firm to customize the selected system to match the client’s specific needs. The firm has both programmers and application specialists to conduct the actual implementation however specific accounting questions may sometimes be outside the skill set of these technical experts.
