Description Works as a contractor consulting support team member specializing in ''systems engineering'' serving Government clients (principally a defense acquisition program group business team). Analyzes intricate or complex technical data and documentation in order to provide expert advice on the technical readiness a defense system acquisition program to go forward to a milestone decision point. Resolves complex management problems for client. May persuade clients to revise or modify policies, procedures, and programs. May function as client’s representative or spokesperson. Responsible for ensuring compliance with established client standards. Requires a bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent and 7-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Required Skills Engineering degree in related field.
