DB2 Database Administrator Needed

Our local New Haven area client has an immediate opening for a DB2 Database Administrator to join their team.  In this role, you will utilize your 5-7 years of experience working with DB2 version 7 on a z/OS platform to respond to DBA requests from both production and test systems.  Some off hours support will also be required.  In addition, qualified candidates will have experience converting databases from V7 to DB2 V9 on the z/OS platform. 

Position requires 1-2 years modeling experience with Erwin tool, driving logical models to physical models and implementing objects into databases.  Any knowledge of COBOL with embedded SQL and/or Ingenium systems is a plus.  This is a 6 month contract to hire position.
