The Berry Company is seeking an individual for the position of Database Architect/Statistical Analyst. General Summary:
This individual takes primary responsibility for the management of Enterprise Data Warehouse business requirements, organizational reports definition, and data analytics for strategic projects.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:        
- Develop and perform data mining projects utilizing the Enterprise Data Warehouse and provide data analytics for key strategic projects, departmental information needs, and key leadership and external meetings. 35%
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on new market and/or product performance, utilizing EDW as source for information. Maintain Strategic Product Analysis Groups data base utilities, including importing, formatting, manipulating and reporting data to Strategy, Finance and company- wide. Perform database utility reporting and system downloads as needed to generate reports. Serving as a liaison with production systems personnel and marketing to maintain accurate reporting. Drive implications and recommendations. 25%
- Lead cross-functional team to develop business requirements and reports needed by organization based on key metrics that drive the business (e.g. strategic plan goals, departmental objectives, etc.). 15%
- Develop data analytics in support of new products in the areas of pricing, product, segmentation, sales innovation. Trend analysis in support of strategic projects and executive reporting. 15%
- Special projects as directed. 10%

Job Specifications:    
- BA/BS in MIS, Marketing, Statistics, Economics, comparable degree or 2+ years equivalent work experience.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and make good decisions based on sound judgment.
- Proficiency in SAS or SPSS, SAP Business Objects and Microsoft Reporting Services, MS Access, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook and Internet.
- Experience in relational databases and customer data warehouses required.
- Previous database development / programming skills preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; specifically presentation skills.
- Up to 10% travel.

Salary is commensurate with experience.  No relocation package is available for this position.  Berry offers a complete benefits package including medical, dental, life, 401k with company match, paid vacation/holidays and much more.
