Description: Seeking a database architect to provide direct software development support for custom automation, factory control and reporting system code named Proteus.
Team replaces legacy databases, paper tracking and excel spreadsheets with cohesive database driven solutions for automation, data collection/validation, analysis and reporting web applications.
New hire will develop new or modified software, including application design, framework extension, test and documentation; provide on-site support for critical operations and test activities as required, analyze and resolve reported software problems, provide fixes, perform testing, and generate documentation as required;
While much of the work is done independently, this is a highly collaborative position that works closely with the process engineering and production operations teams to provide effective solutions in a timely manner. Qualifications: Requires experience with HTML, CSS, SQL, Object Oriented design and Programming as well as web development using any of the following: PHP, JSP, ASP/.Net, Perl, Python, ColdFusion, Flash, FLEX.
