ORACLE DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR (DBA)

 

CAMP is the leading provider of business aviation information products and services with over $40 million in sales. We are headquartered in Long Island, NY with offices in Wichita, Montreal, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Florida, Paris, and India.

 

CAMP offers a suite of web-based information systems and solutions that are delivered to its customers world-wide. A team of over 30 IT professionals are responsible for developing and managing the CAMP product suite. We are looking for full-time Oracle Database Administrator who will be responsible for a couple of large production databases and various development and test databases. In addition, the administrator will also manage a few SQL Server databases.

 

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field of studyTwo (2) to five (5) years related experience or equivalent combinationMust have extensive knowledge of Oracle and its inner workings.Must be very comfortable with writing SQL, SQL tuning options as well as database tuning options.Must have experience with day-to-day DBA activities.Must be comfortable with oracle disaster recovery solutions.Experience with SQL Server a plus (training will be provided for the same)Experience with managing large databases a plus.
