This position will focus on: • Automating data transfer and manipulation using SSIS and DTS • Implementing and maintaining complex SQL Server replication • Managing database security issues • Monitoring and fine-tuning system performance with tools such as SQL Profiler • Performance Monitor • Implementing a backup and recovery strategy Responsibilities: • Maintaining clustered servers running SQL Server in regards to availability, recoverability, and performance • Writing stored procedures, user defined functions, triggers, and ad hoc T-SQL code as needed • Creation of automated processes to build and deliver reports as requested by various action teams • Documentation of procedures regarding disaster recovery and security • Evaluation of database designs proposed by engineers for comparison against existing design standards • Other database-related tasks as assigned Minimum Qualifications: • 5+ years working with MS SQL Server • Excellent debugging and problem solving skills • Excellent T/ SQL Skills • Excellent optimization/tuning of relational databases • Experience with Microsoft SQL Clustering • Experience with disaster recovery solutions like log shipping and replication • Experience managing a large number of databases and database servers • Effective written and oral communication skills (ability to articulate technical designs, strategies, and problems to management) • A strong team player, self motivated with a good attitude Please email resume to :::: Richard.nguyen@rht.com

Advanced MS SQL Server, Intermediate T-SQL, Intermediate SQL.
