Database Administrator – SQL SERVER

DCA Services, an Oklahoma Citybased telecommunications billing company, is looking for qualifiedcandidates for the position of Database Administrator – Microsoft SQLServer. DCA isa turnkey service bureau that provides comprehensive outsourcingsolutions for back office administration, provisioning, customer care,convergent billing, print and mail, press services  and accountsreceivable management. The company also offers electronic bill presentment and payment (EBPP), Internet self care and consultingservices. DCA serves resellers, facilities-based carriers, competitivelocal exchange carriers (CLECs), incumbent local exchange carriers(ILECs) and Internet service providers (ISPs).

 

 

Responsibilities include:host databases, monitor configurations, ensure data integrity, providecapacity planning analysis, performance tuning for database requests,provide assistance in resolving problems with production  SQLdatabases, track critical SQL server problems with customers throughProduct Support, perform index optimization, backup/recovery, usermanagement, provide customized reports and queries from clientdatabases, and other database administration tasks.

 

Requirements: 

Must have knowledge of database concepts, practices and procedures Proficient with creating Stored Procedures, Triggers, Tables, and SQL scripts Experience with Visual Basic and/or Java Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work with a team and manage several concurrent projects Crystal Reports experience a plus Self-motivated and well organized Must work at base office in Oklahoma City
