Data Warehouse/bi Architect Needed!
Stratagem (Milwaukee, Wisconsin)

Stratagem, Inc is currently looking for a talented Data Warehouse Architect.

The Data Warehouse Architect will play a key role in designing and building data warehouses/marts for our clients. In addition there may participation in business development activities (meetings, responding to RFP's, writing proposals, etc). The architect will provide assitance/technical guidance to our Director of Consulting Services for Business Intelligence and participate in building the BI business unit.

The ideal person for this role will be willing to travel for engagements around WI and possibly beyond.

Required Skills/Experience:

8-10 Years experience with a focus on Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence solution implementation.Expert knowledge in aspects of leading Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence technologies including:
  -ETL (i.e. Informatica, MS SSIS, Oracle Warehouse Builder) 
  -Database Modeling & Storage (i.e. SQL Server, Oracle 10g, IBM UDB)  
  -Reporting and analysis delivery tools/applications (i.e. Cognos, Business Objects, OBIEE, Hyperion)
  -Data Modeling (ERwin)Working knowledge of data warehouse methodologies and concepts such as Kimball, Inman, RUP, Spiral, etc.Ability to adapt and quickly learn aspects of new data warehouse technologies.Ability to assist with development/elicitation of business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.Ability to evaluate and recommend data warehouse hardware/software and assist in procurement acitivies.Ability to lead technical portions of a data warehouse project with limited supervision from a project manager.Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Office.Ability to develop phased plans for implementing technical solutions and organizational changes needed for our clients to meet their business objectives.Experience with managing vendor/partner relationships.Ability to train and mentor junior team members (other consultants or clients) in data warehouse concepts and techniques.Experience working with business managers and analysts to determine how business needs can be addressed through technical solutions.Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.Solid time management skills.
