Position Overview: Reporting to the Data Warehouse Manager, this strategic position is responsible for architecting and implementing Rexnord’s Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and reporting solutions, focused on effectively meeting the information needs of the corporation through a robust, scalable platform. This position is responsible for integrating the data supporting the comprehensive information needs of the corporation and for providing a robust set of tools (dashboards, self-service reporting, etc.) to transform data into valuable information. This position requires a thorough understanding of data warehousing/reporting solutions and technologies supported by hands on experience in delivering enterprise-wide, valued-adding information solutions. An in-depth understanding of the manufacturing industry is preferred.

 Reports to: Data Warehouse Manager Position Duties and Responsibilities Create and maintain Rexnord’s data warehouse and reporting strategy.Design and develop an integrated data model, supporting the comprehensive needs of the enterprise.Establish standards for products, tools and processes to support data transformation, data modeling, and reporting.Translate end user requirements into technical architecture vision and implementation plan. Drive solution implementation, assisting in the creation of models, data transformations, and data presentation solutions.Effectively manage projects, changes, and operations associated with Rexnord’s warehousing and reporting solutions. Position RequirementsBA/BS is required, IS or Business degree preferred.Possess strong communication and client management skills. 5 years of experience in the following areas:Architecting large scale data warehousesData modeling ETL concepts and tools. BI/Enterprise Reporting tools (preference for Business Objects).RDBMS (preference for SQL Server 2000 or higher).

Note: Both implementation and operations experience within these domains is preferred.
