RiverPoint is currently seeking a Data Architecture Manager for a full Time opening with one of our clients in Deerfield, IL. Our client seeks Full Time permanent employees howeverthey will consider contract, and contract to hire employees as well.

 

DUTIES:

 

·         Plan and administer overall policies and goals for the IT department

·         Be responsible for planning and staff management of technical resources for high risk/complex/mission critical projects

·         Demonstrate strategic and tactical planning

·         Review project plans, project cost estimates, and monitor projects

·         Ensure successful delivery of all IT projects

·         Assist in creating and enforcing technical strategy and policies for consistent application of development methodologies across all projects

·         Ensure code meets specifications and quality standards, is secure, and easily maintainable

·         Mentor and manage development team members and IT managers

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

·         Application architecture and design experience

·         Management and hands-on experience in the following technologies: ASP.NET, VB.NET, Web Services, (C# and/or C++), XML, object-oriented development

·         Excellent expertise in relational databases (i.e. Sybase, SQL Server,Oracle)

·         Strong technical expertise, capable of performing a full range of complex operations assignments either directly or through subordinates

·         Prior software development experience

·         Experience in implementing effective and innovative software development methodologies

·         Proven ability to lead a progressive IT group

·         Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences

·         Solid communication skills

·         Ability to provide assistance in code construction and object oriented architecture

·         Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects

·         Broad knowledge of data processing systems, concepts, and methodologies, including web and database technologies

·         Experience in the healthcare industry

·         Bachelor Degree in computer science or equivalent experience

·         10 years or more in the IT industry, with a minimum of 5 years in web

·         Minimum of 8 years of management experience

·         Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
