Responsibilities To be the operational liaison between LexisNexis and the data contributor once acquisition projects move into a production environment and to coordinate the ongoing, uninterrupted flow of data from the contributor and insure the integrity of the information contained in the LexisNexis database. Qualifications ? Bachelor?s degree in MIS or related field or significant job related experience required. ? Prior work experience in a technical computer production environment preferred. ? Must have a general understanding of database structures and languages. ? Must have experience with electronically transferring data and text files. ? Must have excellent computer skills. ? Ability to import and process incoming data from electronic sources utilizing a number of different proprietary software applications. ? Excellent verbal and written communication, problem solving, customer service and organizational skills. ? Effective follow-up and time management skills. ? Must be dependable and possess strong personal commitments to maintaining a production schedule, fostering teamwork and achieving overall success. ? Demonstrates dependability through good attendance and adherence to timelines and schedules. ? Communicate with Data Acquisition Coordinators and Public Record Specialists to ensure responses are received in a timely manner. ? Initiate, build, grade, and track data quality through periodic auditing of both new and existing developing data sources. ? Communicate audit results and suggested changes to department. ? Uses proprietary software to import and process incoming data. ? Generates reports for internal and external customers. ? Reviews and reconciles reports to ensure record accountability. ? Ensures that all system processing is properly performed. ? Documents procedures and systems. ? Maintains media library and performs associated functions. ? Initiates automated scripts to download information from Internet sources. ? Monitors personal computers to ensure automated scripts are functioning properly. ? Manually preprocesses selected files to prepare them for automated data processing. ? Communicates challenges and proposed solutions to the department manager. ? Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules. ?
