Key responsibilities include large volume data conversion, data cleansing, production report generation, and upholding scheduled data delivery standards. This position requires strong project management, organizational and communication skills in addition to excellent SQL skills.

Essential Functions

* Conversion, cleansing, and aggregation of incoming client data.
* Development of concise, finite data conversion, processing, and deployment processes in order to deliver time sensitive data to field teams within set deliverable times.
* Standardize and automate operational processes and exception processing.
* Continuous improvement of database indexing, architecture, and processes to increase query performance to reduce processing and deployment time.
* Interface with client and internal teams to identify operational priorities and modify data conversion processes to maximize audit site productivity.
* Development and execution of advanced analysis reports using MS Access.
* Light ad-hoc software modification/development using MS Access (VBA)
* Documentation of conversion, processing, and delivery processes, as well as QA and error handling routines.
* Identification of synergies between clients to generate reusable processes and applications.

Job Qualifications

* Advanced SQL Server skills - SQL Development and Performance Tuning (DBA Experience also helpful)
* Proficiency with large volume datasets (100 million+ row tables)
* Report writing experience (Access, Crystal or R&R)
* Strong analytical/problem solving skills
* Strong communication skills, ability to translate end user needs into an IT solution
* Data warehouse experience a plus
* Experience with ETL tools or data conversion processes a plus
* Experience with healthcare claims management systems or other high volume data sets in a production reporting environment a plus
* Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail is critical to the success of all candidates
* Ability to recognize inefficiencies in processes (operational or technical) and the ability to design solutions to address these issues
* Minimal travel required (less than 5%)
