Job Responsibilities: -Responsible for performing all routine and non-routine cyclotron equipment operations and maintenance tasks and repairs necessary to produce bulk radiochemicals according to internal customer needs, which could include scheduled start-ups and shutdowns of cyclotron machinery, monitoring and supporting systems, loading, installation, and transport activities. -Responsible for properly communicating any abnormal conditions to shift coordinator and assisting with troubleshooting. -Perform batch record calculations and maintain all documentation according to cGMP guidelines. -Set up, maintain, and clean appropriate equipment and work area according to cGMP guidelines. -Responsible for following detailed instructions and communicating effectively, both written and verbally. -Participate and perform effectively in a team environment and interact with multiple departments. -Responsibilities also include the ability to lift, reach, pull, and squat, and climb as needed, according to production demands. -May perform other related duties as required. Requirements: Job Requirements: -Associates degree in electronics from either a college or technical/vocational school or 4 college level science courses, or equivalent training from Armed Forces training schools. -Candidate must possess at least two years experience in component level electronics troubleshooting and repairs and a good working knowledge electronics or electrical engineering. -Experience with cyclotron operations and maintenance is strongly preferred. -Candidate should possess experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the following: solid state and vacuum tube based electronics, analog and digital circuits, logic circuits/PLCs, high power RF systems (high HF through low VHF ranges), high voltage DC power equipment, electro-mechanical systems, and vacuum systems (mechanical, cryogenic, and/or diffusion pumps), as well as having experience working around ionizing radiation sources and pneumatics and hydraulics. -Individual must possess good technical problem solving skills and be mechanically inclined. -Ability to communicate well in a team environment and possess basic mathematics skills. -Must be willing to work in a time sensitive environment around radioactive and/or non radioactive material, dependent upon work area. -Candidate must be able to pay close attention to detail and work with minimal supervision. -Must possess good hand-eye coordination and be able to stand for more than one hour at a time as required by production demand. -Must be able to work a rotating shift that includes some weekends and holidays.
