CITY: Albany STATE: New York COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities): * Provides direct support to customer reported issues reported primarily through phone calls, email and WebSupport. * Work with the support team to disseminate accurate technical information to all customers. * Performs setups and duplication of customer reported issues based on information gathered from the customer and provides a Siebel case number to the customer. * Functions as the first line of support for a customer in determining whether GE Fanuc software or hardware is the source of a problem * Troubleshoots and identify product problems for presentation to engineering for a resolution or disseminates appropriate information necessary to correct configuration issues. Acts as a liaison between the customer and sustaining engineering team. * Performs callbacks and case follow through as defined by the Case Management Procedures. * Works to keep all metrics within established targets. Qualifications/Requirements: * BA Degree in Computer Science, a Instrumentation Technologies or equivalent experience considered. * Exceptional communication skills - written and verbal * Outstanding customer service experience * Experience with HMI, Operator Interface, PLC hardware and software. * Knowledge of VB, SQL, multiple operating systems such as Windows 9X/NT/2000, UNIX and MS Office Suite. ============================================== GE Applicants: * You must submit your application online via COS to be considered.
