Description

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Presents to all internal and external customers MSC Solutions / Value Added Programs such as: CMI (Customer Managed Inventory) VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory),CSD (Cost Savings Documentation), Mscdirect.com, procurement cards and others to ensure meeting all sales goals. Presents all value added programs to all levels of management within external customer accounts to ensure program understanding. Trains and reinforces the MSC Solutions / Value Added Programs (sales and/or functionality): CMI, e-VMI, Pcard, CSD, E-Procurement, Mscdirect.com and Implementation tools. Drives large sales opportunities by working with the OSA's, BSM's and MM on key opportunities at customers to drive sales through the utilization of solutions and others to ensure meeting all sales goals. Works with new OSA's as an integral piece of the NSAO follow-up plan. Owns E-Procurement initiatives and acts as the voice of the field for account implementations. Develops, with the assistance of Branch Sales Managers and Market Manager, key strategies to grow profitable business through MSC Solutions and Value Added Programs. Represents the Solutions Team in branch level field/sales management meetings to convey the team's directions and strategy. Submits to management all required sales and expense reports. Collaborates with supervisor to identify associates that may require additional and/or refresher training related to MSC Solutions / Value Added Programs. Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure unity of purpose and fulfillment of MSC's mission. Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.Required Skills

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: Associate's Degree or the equivalent required. Minimum of 3 years outside sales experience required.

SKILLS: Computer literacy and proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software is required. Excellent oral and written communications skills are also required.

MISCELLANEOUS: A valid driver's license and the ability to travel are required.
