Salary Range: Hourly Rate Depending Upon Qualifications, Full Benefits Package and Bonus Program

 

Experience Required: Call Center and Web Production

 

Professional Requisites: 2+ years experience in Call Center experience, with direct contact with customers. Ideal candidates will also have some experience in web production.

 

HomeAway.com is building a customer service and web production group in which our customers can contact us via phone, email, and online live chat.  Incoming requests will be primarily be around the creation (production) and editing of advertisements to be published on our sites.  Customer support agents will interface with existing and potential customers to discuss services and rates, as well as to assist with support issues and the editing of ad copy and property photos.  

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

First and often only point of contact with potential and existing customers.Communicate services and process; assist customers with layout and writing copy and maintaining overall customer satisfaction.Able to communicate with customers, offering services by translating the technical into the non-technical.Assist customers with copy helping them avoiding vague or incomplete writing and language.Provide assistance with technical troubleshooting, problem-solving and issue resolution

Qualifications:

Strong verbal and written communication are essential. 1-2 Years of customer service experience1-2 years experience in contact centers preferredIdeal candidates will also have experience in web production.Must be detail and service orientated.Industry pluses:  classified listings websites, travel websites, online advertising, or B2C websitesExperience with business support software applications such as MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, etc.) required.Working knowledge of photo editing software such as Photoshop a huge plus.Bachelor’s degree preferred, but will accept equivalent experience in field.

Location

Location will be Austin, Texas.   Limited travel will be required if any.
