Summary: Interviews customers and records interview information into computer for customer service by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other job related duties may be assigned.
• Answers incoming calls regarding the servicing of student loans.
• Answers questions about the organization and provides callers with loan servicing information.
• Data entry of account information.
• Fills out contract forms, determines charges for service requested, collects deposits, prepares change of address records, and issues discontinuance orders.
• Must be responsive, professional, accurate and courteous at all times.
• Solicits sale of new or additional services.
• Adjusts or refers complaints to designated departments for investigation.
• Researches conditions and troubleshoots.
knowledge of Database software, order processing systems, spreadsheet software and Wordprocessing software.
