Currently, we have an exciting career opportunity for a Customer Service Representative located in our Providence, Rhode Island office.
POSITION SUMMARY: Provide professional and courtious service for new and existing policyholders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Customer Service Representatives are responsible for servicing and maintaining existing accounts to include quoting on new lines of insurance and handling all policy inquiries and changes. Prepare and complete applications, as well as follow up on needed information. Works with clients via the telephone as well as in person. Assumes additional duties as needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 1year of customer service experience. Proficient in MicroSoft Office. Must have ability to multi-task and prioritize work flow. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to empathize with clients. Strong attention to detail and organization skills. RI state Property & Casualty license required.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent.
