ALTIVIA is a chemical manufacturer focusing primarily on water treatment and services for municipal drinking water and wastewater plants primarily in the US Gulf Coast and Midwest.
ALTIVIA is headquartered in Houston, Texasand has production facilities in Houston and St. Gabriel, Louisiana.
ALTIVIA is currently seeking candidates for the position of Customer Service Representative.
Responsibilities:
To perform the customer service function at ALTIVIA’s Greens Bayou manufacturing plant located in on the East side of Houston
Communicates with customer’s purchasing representatives and internal customers
Enters orders by inputting data into the order system: verifying addresses, quantities and products ordered
Calls customers in case of missing order information from faxed and emailed orders
Coordinates with Transportation providers to schedule delivery of products
Prepares reports and completes general office functions
Experience in the Chemical or Transportation industries would be helpful
This position will report to the Customer Service Manager
Qualifications:
2 years of experience in a CSR role preferredChemical industry experience preferred but not requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDetail oriented with a positive attitudeKnowledgeable in Microsoft Office Products Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Chempax would be helpfulSelf-starting, multi-tasking team player
