The Caustic Management Services group of Merichem Chemicals & Refinery Services LLC (MCRS) brings to the petroleum refining and petrochemical industries more than 50 years of experience in the handling of sulfidic caustic effluent streams, a co-product of caustic treating.

 

The Gas Technology Products Division is the worldwide leading licensor of technologies and supplier of engineering and equipment solutions for H2S removal & other Gas treating processes.

 

Merichem Chemicals & Refinery Services LLC has four business units: Caustic Management Services, Process Technology Division, Gas Technology Processes, and a plant in Tuscaloosa.

 

Customer Service Representative - Caustic Management Services 08-0040

To implement and coordinate customer and logistics services to assure that processes are aligned with our internal and external customer’s expectations. Responsible for the accurate and timely entry of sales orders, overseeing the order management process from sales input and delivery execution, through invoicing and collections. 

 Experience:2 year business program and/or 1-3 years related work experience

Requirements:

Implement the order management process from order input and delivery through invoicing and collections.Provide, develop and coordinate customer service functionality that supports or improves the efficiency of the business.Assist the account managers in contract administration. Contract administration includes, but is not limited to resolving customer complaints or discrepancies regarding transportation, quality, and pricing. Provide service and support for local accounts as assigned by the Supervisor and the Sales Manager.Assist account managers in responding promptly to new leads or inquiries.Provide system support for infrastructure of logistics data enabling delivery execution. Document and analyze information to solve customer service issues or prevent potential problems.Monthly status report of customer service related projects.Customer surveys and summary report of findings.Troubleshooting in response to transportation and logistics issues with customers and terminals.

·         Good customer service skills including ability to manage customer complaints

·         Above average communication ability – oral and written

·         High degree of coordination, planning, and organizational skills

·         Flexibility to accommodate shifting priorities

·         Data entry

·         Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills

·         Quick learner
