Concordia Publishing House, the publishing arm of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, currently has an opening for a Customer Service Representative. This position is responsible for answering incoming calls in a timely, knowledgeable, and professional manner while meeting call quality expectations. The CSR will listen to customer needs and provide caring service to all CPH customers, develop and maintain excellent customer relationships, resolve problems in an empathic manner, assure prompt follow up, take responsibility for their work, have a solid understanding of all products, write up and prepare new orders, provide quotes for customers vial mail, fax, e-mail or verbally within 24 hours, prepare renewals for mailing and maintain a Christian attitude and willingness to assist fellow CSR's. Marginal functions include making out-bound calls to market products and make reminder calls about renewing orders. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of customer service experience, possess excellent communication skills, ability to work across functions and meet deadlines.
