Job Description: This customer service representative Position Features: business environment convenient location variety of duties Responsible for taking inbound calls from borrowers currently in foreclosure; assisting customers by primarily focusing on controlling the call in a courteous and professional manner. Explains and offers best possible workout options as required by the companies best practices in order to keep borrowers in their homes, and/or minimize losses to the bank. Experience: 2 years of related experience or the equivalent combination of experience and education. Knowledge of general office procedure and practices. Good problem-solving, communication, interpersonal skills are required to effectively perform job functions; ability to follow instructions also required. Regular attendance and schedule adherence is an essential function of the position. Key performance criteria include quality, accuracy, reliability and productivity. Receive inbound calls from delinquent borrowers currently in foreclosure; discusses and offers best possible workouts. 65% Make outbound calls to follow up with borrowers on existing workout plans. 10% Verify security and get updated phone numbers and mailing address from borrowers. 10% Send workout packages. 10% Transfer calls to appropriate parties; perform other duties as assigned by management. 5% Set up face-to-face interviews during Homeownership Preservation's Community Outreach Campaigns (10%) Education: High School Diploma or GED.
