We are seeking a Customer Service Manager in the Houston, TX area.

Job Description

Supervises and coordinates activities of route service persons and vending attendants; assures the communication to and retention of client accounts. Visit accounts and clients to maintain good relations and react to any comments, suggestions or concerns for the purpose of account retention; actively pursues pricing goals. Coordinates machine installations in new and existing accounts; performs account location inspections and machine audits to ensure company standards are met. Reviews route daily and weekly reports to ensure integrity, control spoilage rates, monitor accuracy of machine collections and control labor costs; ensures quality, cleanliness, merchandizing, customer service and company policies and programs are maintained. Reviews service frequencies to assure maximum sales without jeopardizing customer satisfaction. Schedules and modifies route structure to improve productivity and control overtime compensation, as well as controlling employee scheduling, and the operation has sufficient labor each day for service obligations. When necessary, performs activities of workers supervised. Schedules regular meetings with route service and attendant personnel, and foster open lines of communication with direct reports; confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of the operation and attend regular staff meetings to keep informed and updated about current developments related to our company. Ensures a safe working environment and communicates company safety policies and goals to employees. Secures necessary vehicles for route service personnel and insures proper maintenance of fleet vehicles. Oversees all aspects of building maintenance including repairs, housekeeping and security.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role is required. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public. General office skills to include knowledge of Microsoft applications Excel and Word. Valid driver's license and good driving record. Background and/or security check required including drug testing.
