Southwest Wire Rope, LP is a well-established fabricator and distributor of wire rope and its hardware and the prime supplier of material handling, lifting and mooring products to our markets.

 

Our Customer Service Manager will be responsible for managing the sales performanc eand day to day operations for the customer service / inside sales teams in our Houston locations as well as our two locations in Southern Louisiana.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

Training, mentoring and coaching Customer Service / Inside Sales representatives.Evaluating representatives and assigning Customer Service leadership role in each location.Partners with Director of Sales and Marketing to identify revenue generating opportunities for products.Performs organized sales traning and product training programs.Interacts with Accounting, PRoduction and Purchasing to resolve issues and expedite orders.Maintains reports, scheduling, policies and procedures for customer service.Sets objectives for department and advises all of progress towards those objectives.Analyzes inside sales department operations to determine areas of need. Initiates methods to motivate staff to develop courteous, responsive, and professional customer service and outstanding sales.Supervises staff in their interactions with existing or potential clinets, and provides feedback, constructive criticism, and instruction.Interactives extensively with inside sales team to answer qustions and analyzes and resolves problems/disputes.Responds to employee complaints, administers disciplinary procedures, hires and terminates employees, appraises employee performance and recommends pay increases. Develops effective business relationships with current and potential customers.

Qualifications:

 

Minimum 5 years demonstrated experience in a Customer Service Management RoleRelated industry experience such as Oilfield/General Industry supplyExcellent communication skills both oral and writtenProficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Word and ExcelExperience in managing a staff of around 15 in multiple locationsAbility to travel about 3x a yearCollege degree in Related Field.
