You are the first impression as you greet arrivals to the facility and the last impression of the company as you assist travelers with their vehicle return, offer of directions, and thankful appreciation as they depart. Responsible for checking-in rental vehicles, preparing various reports, monitoring parking area, and assisting with the delivery of rental vehicles to customer.

Greet customers at vehicle check-in, inspect vehicles for damage, collect keys, assist with luggage, log gasoline and mileage, and complete associated logs/reports; close out rental agreements using hand held check-in devices. Locate and drive vehicles to rental counter area upon check-out; assist customers with luggage, directions, and operations of various functions of vehicle. Prepare various reports such as vehicle accident, damage/theft, and mechanical malfunction reports. Receive and respond to customer complaints in a manner to ensure optimal customer satisfaction; direct complaints to supervisor as necessary. Monitor the parking area by identifying vehicles entering and/or exiting the lot. Identify and remove turn back vehicles from the lot. Assist in movement of vehicles between line and lots. Knowledge and Skill

Good interpersonal and communication skills as required when interacting with customers. Ability to pay close attention to detail. Ability to write clearly and concisely. Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions. Ability to understand and use automated hand held check-in devices. Ability to present a professional, enthusiastic attitude through effective communication skills to promote a positive impression of Dollar to customers and employees.


Required Education/Experience

High School diploma or the equivalent preferred. Valid driver's license as required by state.
