The Customer Service Representative is a part of our Service Delivery team that provides excellent service to our clientele. If you enjoy a unique role within a call center where the unexpected is expected, this job may be for you!
Responsibilities:
Delight members by handling incoming phone calls requesting personal services such as dining reservations and suggestions, flower orders, and gift baskets for special occasions, ticket inquiries, locating hard to find items, arrangements for Bed and Breakfasts and other unique lodging, and product comparisons. Responsible for all initial interaction with member via phone Answer calls and/or complete requests to meet and exceed service level goals. An average day consists of 15-20 of these calls. Strive to fulfill requests during initial contact with the member Identify and provide relevant knowledge and insight to members regarding the services that we can offer Accurately and completely capture information and update systems appropriately Promote meaningful relationships through engaging and informed conversation with members via phone Share feedback about member request trends and overall suggestions for improvement with your supervisor Consistently provide high-level customer service in a fast paced, structured, call center environment
Required Skills/Competencies:
Able to quickly establish rapport/relationships on phone Able to quickly instill trust and confidence on phone Must be able to demonstrate ability to think on their feet, fill empty space with relevant discussion Must be able to demonstrate ability to go beyond what they are asked, place yourself in the shoes of the request and think what else would I truly want Must demonstrate a true passion for speaking with people, cannot be shy in conversations Willing to challenge the norm for the greater good of the customer, a demonstrated willingness to be the customers voice with vendors etc. Superb computer and internet skills High Productivity Focus on the Customer Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills Active Listening Desire for Continuous LearningExperience:
1-2 years previous call center experience or 4-5 years of corporate experience Previous service industry related experience – Travel, Airline, Hotel, Front Desk and/or Concierge, Retail, Fine Dining Restaurant, etc.Education Required: Bachelor's degree strongly preferred. Consideration will be given to those with equivalent work experience in the fields of hospitality and/or travel.
